Another addition to the fleet. I finally decided to say goodbye to the GPA hulk that had been languishing in the corner of the garage for years, and swopped it for a GMC workshop truck which arrived from Norway at the end of July 2001.
It has 6000 miles from new on it, with only 2000 on the engine. Apart from the usual Norwegian modifications (modern tyres, lights, indicators, cab plates) it is just as it came from the factory. No sign of any equipment in the rear apart from the original enormous petrol-burning heater and chimney. It even has the original canvas on it which is damaged but repairable. I'll probably get the canvas repaired and replace the one tailgate stay bar that's missing.

There's a similar truck in the George C. Marshall Museum in Holland which has a cable-braced 'A' frame and jacks on the front bumper, mine has holes in the underside of the bumper for bracing jacks and the lugs on the forward lower corners of the body to take the brace cable ends, but no sign they'd ever been fitted.
Anyone got a manual or parts list for the Couse 'C' trucks ? I have the basic GMC manual and parts list already.
